Keep the Board of Supervisors Majority Democratic! Help Elect Paloma Aguirre!
A special election on July 1 will determine the majority on the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, which oversees an $8.62 billion budget for health, safety, and social services.

Dems currently are favored to win the House, and the GOP is favored to win the Senate in 2026.
"Republicans currently hold 220 of 435 seats in the House and 53 of 100 seats in the Senate, so a loss of as few as three seats in the House and four seats in the Senate would cause Republicans to lose their majority for the final two years of Trump’s presidency…[The author’s model predicts a Democratic gain of more than a dozen seats in the House. However] the national political environment would probably have to be tilted significantly in favor of Democrats for Republicans to suffer a net loss of four or more Senate seats in 2026…. It would probably take a Democratic lead of close to 10 points to produce a swing of that magnitude. Rasmussen Reports Dr. Alan Abramowitz, Professor Emeritus of Political Science at Emory University 4/24/25.
